TAX DAY!
So, this year I decided to take the leap and do my own taxes. I figured; "I always let Marv (my Stepdad) do them, I should do them on my own and be my own person. What could be so hard?"
Well, as it turns out... there are some fundamental differences between Marv and myself.
There are two such characteristics that come to mind: Marv does stuff on time, and does not have a propensity to losing important documents.
So I'm here, unfiled and short a W-2. Oh good.
Oh well, thanks to my uncanny ability to exist on the seat of my pants I've been able to squeak my way into a solution that doesn't involve tax evasion. I'm still not happy, though. Making it by the skin of my teeth is generally not a good way to live. Besides the everpresent danger of my house-of-cards life falling down, I'm also allergic to ulcers.
Enough about me. You need to read this comic.

The third panel is probably the funniest thing I've seen all week. I'm still chuckling in that silent, sacreligious way.
Ok. Today is the second to last meeting of MUSIC HISTORY before the final.... I should probably go. I really dislike that class. Without it my afternoons would be care-free spring days with naps and puppy-dogs, but Music Hist at 1:00 pretty much sticks into the afternoon like a sore thumb. It doesn't leave me with enough time to head home for lunch, and leaving afterwards is again a waste of gas without enough time to enjoy it.
Oh well, I'm almost free. I can taste the freedom. One more week.
It tastes delicious.
